Our Process
A beautiful aspect of creating a film is not just the end result - but the journey itself. Planning your Lifetime Story Film brings people together; reminiscing over stories you love sharing, looking through photos and telling those forgotten tales to be passed on through the generations.
All our materials are designed to elicit stories and memories and these will be available to you throughout. We’ll be here to guide and help you to create the outline for your film and find photos that bring back these memories.
We love creating a relaxing atmosphere for people to share the stories of their life, so they are told naturally, leaving a wonderful legacy film.
Once you have had time to talk, reminisce, laugh, cry and reflect on all your memories, we are ready to create your Lifetime Story and set a date for filming.
We have high quality and unobtrusive filming and lighting equipment and our lovely team of Michael, Jenny or Natalie will come to your home to film your stories and memories live. Back in our editing studio we will bring your story to life, overlaying your photos and giving you a story to last a Lifetime.

Some Examples
N & D recorded a film for their son’s first birthday, recalling their stories of meeting, getting married, right up to the first year of parenting.
Leonard’s Lifetime Story Film was created to capture his memories of growing up as a child during WW2. This excerpt is a particularly moving story about his appreciation of art.
Peter’s Lifetime Story film was about his childhood and here is an excerpt from his chapter on ‘Brothers’.

What is the (overarching) story I would like to tell?
We all have a story to tell. Do you want to share the story of your childhood, recalling pivotal memories and milestones? Is it the story of how you met your partner? Or recording your life’s wisdoms to share with your grandchildren?

Why do I want to share my story?
It is also important to think about why you want to create this film. As a legacy video for you, or even a gift for your parents to share with their children and grandchildren.

We have carefully tailored film packages to suit your needs. This can be a very personal process and we are here to support and guide you throughout, with a mix of email and phone calls, leading up to the day of filming.
