Natural Born Storytellers began with the simple premise that 'everyone has a story to tell', so we started gathering in a small room in a pub in Camden where people took to the stage to tell true stories from their lives based on a monthly theme ranging from 'Shame' to 'Unlikely Friendships' and 'On the Road' to 'My First Time' and we've ended up at various comedy, music and arts festivals since then...
On Sunday 5th October we've gathered together a bunch of our favourite storytellers and the best stories from our time in Camden for a 'Best Of...' show at the LOST Theatre in Vauxhall.
There is no theme this month, just a collection of your favourite stories and storytellers and, as always, there will be an opportunity for one or two audience members to take to the stage later in the show and tell their own tales.
Our nights are friendly. open, intimate and honest and the stories moving, life-affirming, shocking, captivating or just plain hilarious. It's different to a comedy night where the expectation is laughter... here laughter comes, but it's a part of a whole breadth of other emotions and reactions to the stories and it makes for a rich, fulfilling evening's entertainment.
Come on down and experience one of the warmest and friendliest nights in London
