In this fun and intimate workshop, we will share stories, play games and help craft moments from your life into captivating true stories. Everyone will arrive with a story they'd like to work on. This can be a fully fledged story, a memory or an idea. 

Working with intentions, structure, introducing characters, descriptions, stakes, obstacles, openings and endings we will work together in small groups where you will connect with others and share experiences with lots of feedback and support. You will learn and practice practical techniques to transform experiences and anecdotes into stories that draw in your listeners. 

Before the workshop: Write down any stories that pop into your head and please arrive at the workshop with one story that you want to work on throughout the workshop. We'll be picking it apart, putting it back together, working on characters, bringing your telling into the present and helping you paint a vivid picture of the story world you want to create.
