On the road, adventures by bicycle, car or carriage. Maybe your story took place on a ferris wheel, doing a wheelie, moving a wheelbarrow, on a wheelchair or cartwheeling. You could have been a small cog in a large wheel, fallen asleep at the wheel, been a third wheel, greased the wheel, put the wheels in motion or just delivered some meals on wheels. Or simply, your story flows through the wheels of time, or you spin the wheels of fortune as your journey takes you through the wheel of life. Our theme this month is wheely open to interpretation as we hear a wonderful collection of stories involving ‘Wheels’.

Our true storytelling shows are friendly, open, intimate and honest and the stories moving, life-affirming, shocking, captivating or just plain hilarious. It's different to a comedy show where the expectation is laughter... here laughter comes, but it's a part of a whole breadth of other emotions and reactions to the stories and it makes for a rich, fulfilling evening's entertainment.

Anyone from the audience is encouraged to share true stories alongside pre-booked and professional storytellers. There is a great mix of stage experience on offer and it really adds to the spontaneity of the evening.
