Born in the literary haven of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Fiona moved to Zimbabwe with her family when she was six months old, later growing up in South Africa. She is the youngest of four children and was raised by a single mother who kept the family travelling in search of a better life. Fiona enjoys storytelling to young and old in informal surroundings, including festivals and group evenings around London.
The stakes are high as Fiona returns home to a family gathering of highly successful brothers and sisters. Will she live up to the expectations she's set for herself? Will her salad-making skills live on in the lore of her family's history? There is only one way to find out...
